Good muscle and joint function are largely dependent on strength and smooth function. Similar to machines that can’t work without the right parts, muscles and joints can’t function properly without nutrients – the essential building blocks. Without magnesium, manganese, calcium, selenium, iron and other elements, muscles and joints are much more prone to injuries and tightness. They also need vitamins,omega oils and a good probiotic to recover from the ongoing workload.

Our products are meant to be fed together with a varied diet of whole, unprocessed meat, bones, organs and veggies for best results but will also benefit dogs that are on fortified raw diets with synthetic 'nutrients' (vitamins and minerals) including those that are canned or kibble. 

The nutrients in our supplements are highly bioavailable food sources which are very different from conventional supplements (see articles below). They really are more superfoods than 'supplements'.

Please consult with your veterinarian before using GreenMin if your dog is on blood thinning herbs or medications, NSAID's, or suffers from a bleeding disorder.  For ill and depleted animals introduce GreenMin gradually over one week.

Regarding combining medication and supplements, our essential products GreenMin, SoulFood, GutSense and FeelGood Omega are like food and the body recognizes them and absorbs what it needs.They have no known drug interactions with conventional drugs however, we don't recommend using two of the same supplements at the same time. (i.e. two different probiotic supplements.)

When a dogs body is depleted its defenses are inhibited and toxins are not released from the body. When you start supplying the body with the right nutrients, the body comes alive and starts to expel any stored up toxins.

As gentle detox is expected when starting these supplements, it is not uncommon for dogs to experience mild digestive upset, or other detoxifying symptoms such as skin or ear issues, within the first few days. These reactions are perfectly normal and to be expected. They will usually disappear within a few days as the body rids itself of some of the harmful toxins and starts absorbing the minerals effectively.
