I would like to share this beautiful story of one of my patients Rifki that his 'mom' Olena shared with us. It is a good example that even the bleakest picture can come to a happy end.
Thank you from all of my heart for this whole experience, for the knowledgeable holistic veterinarian and a compassionate person that you are!
May God bless you and your gift of helping pets and their owners!
Olena Balandina, Alberta, CanadaRifki’s story is only one of the many situations, where people are told that there is nothing that can be done and it is not true.
Rifki’s tongue lesion turned out to be a benign tumor called Schwannoma, which was likely a result of repeated trauma from a frisbee that Rifki loves to fetch and carry around. In addition, his low back pain, chronic allergies – paw licking, abdomen licking have all resolved within a few months on a natural raw diet and essential supplements.
To see such situations, I propose to you and I make a pact together that we will not stop searching for solutions when challenges come up and not allow others to tell us that there are no better answers than chemotherapy, drugs, and junky special diets. It never hurts to seek out a second opinion, especially in serious situations. More often than not, there are better ways to go.
With gratitude,
Dr. Peter Dobias, DVM
