A holistic sanctuary for senior dogs
Hi, Dog Lovers,
I am so happy to be sharing this interview with you about a special animal rescue organization we’ve supported in the last couple of years.
Monkey’s House was founded by lifelong animal lovers, Michele and Jeff Allen. Their small farm in New Jersey, USA, has provided a loving, safe home to more than 100 foster and rescue animals over the past five years.
The mission of Monkey’s House is to provide loving care to homeless dogs with terminal diagnosis or hard to adopt disabilities. We strive to promote optimum wellness through individually tailored nutrition and exercise in a home setting. All the veterinary care needed for quality of life, lived in this peaceful, rural community is provided. Monkey's House is a 501C3 non-profit organization.”
They have amassed a solid following of over 65,000 passionate dog lovers on social media in just a few years. Their dedicated work has been featured by many organizations including CNN, ABC, Hallmark, and Fox to name just a few.
Jeff and Michele have recently released a heartwarming book, Where Dogs Go To LIVE! It is packed with inspiring stories of hospice dogs that undergo remarkable transformations through food therapy, holistic treatments, and a whole lot of love.
The writing is engaging and entertaining, and the stories are both moving and uplifting.
It really is a must-read for every dog lover. :-)
Our interview, and the book, cover a wide range of topics. You can get a sneak peak of the book, Where Dogs Go To LIVE!, with chapter one available on the Monkey’s House website.
I hope you enjoy this interview and encourage you to check out the book, which will make a great gift for any dog lovers in your life.
With gratitude,
Alicia Amundson
