Life Lessons, Insights and Inspiration

I hope you and your dogs are having a fantastic, dog-ilicious summer!

Pax and I have been enjoying as many lake swims as possible, usually hiking up early to avoid the crowds and keeping cool walking in the shaded forest trails — even when it comes with a few bumps and bruises along the way. (More on that below )

Before we dive into this month’s updates, I want to spotlight a product that’s become a true cornerstone in Pax’s health routine — and one I take myself, too.

Is your dog getting FAKE-TAMINS?

Most vitamin supplements on the market are synthetic, which is a problem.

They are poorly absorbed, hard on the stomach and gut, and the body doesn’t know what to do with these FAKE-TAMINS.

I learned this a long time ago in practice. Dogs don’t tolerate fake-tamins very well, and my stomach would often get upset after taking multivitamins.

But when I discovered the two-stage fermentation process, the problem was solved and SoulFood was born!

Research confirms that fermentation makes nutrients:

    • 7–10x more bioavailable
    • Easier to digest (even on sensitive stomachs)
    • Richer in enzymes, antioxidants and postbiotics
    • More powerful at reducing inflammation (fermented turmeric has outperformed ibuprofen in studies!)

Studies show fermented supplements can also:

    • Fight harmful bacteria while supporting good bacteria growth
    • Reduce inflammation
    • Increase antioxidant levels
    • Enhance mineral absorption

This supplement supports foundational health for dogs of all ages — especially those dealing with inflammation, mobility issues, or low energy.

And let’s be honest, who doesn’t!

Our proprietary two-stage fermentation process involves Saccharomyces cerevisiae, beneficial yeast, fruit-based enzymes, and a special kind of probiotics to maximize the benefits.
