Product analysis (per capsule of LiverTune)
Organic Barley Grass 92.5 mg, Organic Milk Thistle 72.5 mg, Organic Dandelion Root 72.5 mg, Organic Artichoke 62.5 mg, Organic Cilantro 62.5 mg, Organic Ashwagandha 62.5 mg, Organic Broccoli Sprout 37.5 mg, Organic Turmeric Root 37.5mg.
Organic Artichoke
One of nature's most potent antioxidant foods — with antioxidant levels measured at twice those of blueberries. Artichoke leaf extract supports liver cell protection, stimulates bile production, and has been shown to reduce symptoms of impaired digestion including nausea and abdominal discomfort within two to eight weeks of use.

Organic Dandelion Root
A powerful ally for liver and digestive health. Dandelion root stimulates bile production and flow, helping the liver process and eliminate waste more efficiently. Its high inulin content also acts as a prebiotic, feeding the beneficial gut bacteria that support immunity and digestion.
Organic Milk Thistle
The gold standard of liver support and protection. Milk thistle's active compound silymarin has been shown to shield liver cells from toxin-induced damage and support their regeneration. A 2007 study confirmed that silymarin reduced drug-related kidney and liver toxicity in dogs specifically.

Organic Barley Grass
One of the most nutrient-dense greens available, barley grass provides a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals including beta carotene, B vitamins, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. It supports toxin removal, balances blood pH, aids digestive health, and is notably easier on the digestive tract than many other grasses — making it well tolerated even for sensitive dogs.
Organic Turmeric Root
A cornerstone of both Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. Curcumin, turmeric's active compound, has been shown in clinical research to reduce liver enzyme levels and decrease non-alcoholic fatty liver disease severity in the majority of patients studied. Its antioxidant properties are so significant they may help prevent liver damage from environmental toxins and long-term medication use.
Organic Broccoli Sprouts
Young broccoli sprouts pack a remarkable nutritional punch relative to their size — delivering meaningful amounts of vitamin C, protein, fiber, and key minerals. Research supports their role in boosting metabolism, supporting immune function, and improving the body's natural detoxification processes at the cellular level.
Organic Cilantro
One of the few herbs with a demonstrated ability to bind and remove heavy metals — including mercury, lead and cadmium — from the body. An animal study found that cilantro's high concentration of polyphenols protected liver cells from toxin exposure, making it a natural fit in any serious liver support formula.
Sources:
Organic Ashwagandha
An adaptogenic herb with thousands of years of use in Ayurvedic medicine. Ashwagandha helps the body cope with stress, reduces inflammation, and has been used specifically in cases of chronic liver disease. It also supports immune function and helps reduce fatigue — particularly relevant for dogs whose organs are under toxic load.
Why cleanse, detox and support the liver?
Dogs evolved in a world free from the chemicals, pesticides, and environmental toxins that are now an unfortunate part of modern life. These toxins accumulate in your dog's body daily — and the liver bears the burden of eliminating all of them.
The scale of what the liver manages is almost impossible to grasp. A dog's body contains tens of trillions of cells, with 37 thousand billion billion chemical reactions taking place every second — and the liver sits at the center of it all. It keeps metabolism running smoothly while also producing essential proteins, synthesizing some vitamins, and regulating fat and carbohydrate metabolism.
In case that number is hard to comprehend, here’s how it looks numerically:
37 000 000 000 000 000 000 000/sec
When toxic load overwhelms the liver's capacity, along with nutrient deficiencies and poor diet, disease follows. It is our experience that a week-long monthly liver cleanse and detox is one of the keys to your dog's healthy and long life.
Safety & Testing
Safety & Testing
Every bottle of LiverTune earns your trust before it reaches you.
- Lab-tested for purity and heavy metals
- Human-grade ingredients
- We perform additional batch testing to confirm the results
- Packaged in glass as chemicals from plastic leach into the product
- Sourced from only the highest quality ingredients
- Made in the USA in a human certified organic production facility
As nature intended. Every ingredient is all-natural, plant-based, and chosen for what it contributes to your dog's health — nothing more.
Our two-stage proprietary fermentation process means this product is 5 to 7 times more bioavailable than conventional supplements. Step one uses beneficial saccharomyces yeast to “pre-digest” herbs and superfoods to make them more beneficial. In the second phase, we use beneficial probiotic bacteria to further enhance bioavailability and increase the post-biotic content. These newly created compounds are known to increase antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties of the formulation.
Made according to USDA-certified organic standards, from ingredients sourced at the highest quality available, and nothing sourced from China.
Glass preserves the integrity of every ingredient, prevents plastic leaching, and is better for the environment.
Lab-tested multiple times for safety, purity, and nutritional value — including additional batch testing to ensure that this product is heavy metal-free.
Produced in a human-grade, certified organic facility. We never source from countries known to tolerate widespread animal abuse.
Toxin free body, a healthy and long life
Why Every Dog Needs a Regular Detox
Your dog can't escape today's toxic environment — it's in the air, the soil, the water, and the food chain. Modern life exposure to pesticides, chemical household products and residues of drugs and medication increases demands on the liver even further. The infographic below shows exactly what that toxic load does to your dog's body, and the simple three-step process that LiverTune makes possible.

FAQs
What is the shelf life?
3 years from the date of manufacture.
Is it intended for all life stages?
LiverTune is safe for dogs of all ages. That said, there's no need to start a liver cleanse until your puppy is 6 months old unless it has been diagnosed with liver disease.
How long should I be giving my dog LiverTune, and how often?
For a first cleanse, give LiverTune daily for four consecutive weeks, mixed into your dog's food or given as a whole capsule.
For ongoing liver support, give LiverTune daily for one week each month as part of a regular detox, liver health, and longevity program.
For dogs with elevated liver enzymes (ALT, GGT), continue at the same dosage until enzyme levels return to normal. After this, continue with a week long monthly cleanse unless ALT and GGT levels rise again. In such case, we recommend administering LiverTune on an ongoing basis. ALT and GGT values should be checked at least every 3–6 months.
Are there any symptoms to expect when starting a cleanse?
Since LiverTune helps expel toxins from the liver and the body, it is not uncommon to see changes in stool such as mucous passing, possibly some diarrhea and occasionally ear or skin irritation as the body is adjusting and ridding itself of toxins. These symptoms are positive cleansing effects and usually only last a few days to a week, but if they become severe we recommend giving less (1/4 to 1/2 dose) until the body adjusts and symptoms subside.
Can I continue to give my dog the other essentials during the liver cleanse?
Yes — we recommend keeping your dog on their core essentials throughout. One note: if your dog is already taking any supplements containing milk thistle (including Denamarin) stop them and administer LiverTune only to prevent higher than optimal dosage.
Are there any special diet requirements that you recommend during a cleanse?
A raw or cooked natural diet is always ideal, but the cleanse will be beneficial regardless of what your dog eats.
My dog has a liver disorder, is it safe to do a cleanse?
Based on our clinical experience, LiverTune clearly supports dogs with liver disease.
My dog has kidney issues, is it safe to do a cleanse?
LiverTune can be given to dogs with kidney disease.
Are there any conditions where a cleanse is not recommended?
LiverTune is not recommended for dogs diagnosed with gallstones or bile duct obstruction. It is also not intended for pregnant or lactating dogs without veterinary guidance.
Is LiverTune gluten-free?
Yes. The barley grass in LiverTune comes from the leaf of the plant, not the grain, making it naturally gluten-free.
Will LiverTune help with skin issues?
It is our experience that LiverTune has a very positive effect in dogs suffering from allergies, chronic skin and ear problems.
Will LiverTune also cleanse the digestive tract as well?
While LiverTune isn't specifically formulated as a digestive supplement, several of its ingredients do support digestive health. For targeted digestive and probiotic support, GutSense is our dedicated supplement for that purpose.
