Why is supplementation important for my dog?
Good muscle and joint function are largely dependent on strength and smooth function. Similar to machines that can’t work without the right parts, muscles and joints can’t function properly without nutrients – the essential building blocks. Without magnesium, manganese, calcium, selenium, iron and other elements, muscles and joints are much more prone to injuries and tightness. They also need vitamins, omega oils and a good probiotic to recover from the ongoing workload.
Do I need to supplement if I am feeding my dog a complete diet?
Our products are meant to be fed together with a varied diet of whole, unprocessed meat, bones, organs and veggies for best results but will also benefit dogs that are on fortified raw diets with synthetic 'nutrients' (vitamins and minerals) including those that are canned or kibble.
Sadly, most of the nutrient cycles in nature have been disturbed by the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. However, the biggest issue is that industrial agriculture does not return food remnants and manure back into the soil, which leads to further soil depletion. Our foods are not enriched with the same quality or quantity of nutrients and have been declining over the years.

Do I need to stop providing supplements when doing the LiveTune Cleanse?

Are there any side effects with these supplements?
When a dog's body is depleted its defenses are inhibited and toxins are not released from the body. When you start supplying the body with the right nutrients, GreenMin, SoulFood, GutSense, FeelGood Omega, and LiverTune the body comes alive and starts to expel any stored up toxins.
As gentle detox is expected when starting these supplements, it is not uncommon for dogs to experience mild digestive upset, or other detoxifying symptoms such as skin or ear issues, within the first few days. These reactions are perfectly normal and to be expected. They will usually disappear within a few days as the body rids itself of some of the harmful toxins and starts absorbing the minerals effectively.
