What is Flying Dog Club?
We are dedicated to creating a worldwide network of likeminded people that want to make it easier for animals and their people to live and travel together. What do we do?
- One of our missions is to find ways for our animal friends to travel safely with us in the passenger cabin.
- We love our pets, and believe that they do not belong in kennels when we travel and want to take them with us.
- We hope to create charter flight programs where our pets can fly in the passenger cabin.
- We believe that by proving that there is enough demand, we will be able to associate with progressive, open-minded airlines and travel agencies to make our common dream come true.
- We believe that there is a power in sharing our common dream and encouraging our members to come up with new innovative ideas.
Why?
Because the larger Flying Dog Club gets, the more options and ideas we have available. The more members join, the sooner you can fly.Who are our members?
- People who believe in humane treatment of animals.
- We believe that the degree of our society's evolution can be measured by the ways we treat our pets and other animals.
- People who say: "Our pets are family, not luggage."
- We believe that pets deserve the best life possible for their gift of enriching our lives.
What else?
- Our goal is to achieve membership of 1,000,000 like-minded people from around the world.
- We want to show others the importance of the animal-human bond on health, happiness and longevity.
- We want to demonstrate that animals have emotions and the ability to be kind, caring and empathetic.
- We want to be animal advocates.
- We are planning to associate with pet friendly businesses, hotels, B&Bs, restaurants, and travel agencies to create the greatest animal-friendly network on the planet.
- We plan to make all our flights carbon neutral by purchasing carbon credits.
