Why I Created GutSense

I didn’t set out to become a supplement maker. But after years of seeing the quality issues with products on the market — especially ingredients sourced from countries with questionable standards — I realized I couldn’t trust what I was giving to my patients and my own dog, Pax. So I started creating my own formulas, and GutSense became one of the most important.

The Problem With Typical Probiotics

Most dog probiotics deliver beneficial bacteria in a capsule — but nothing else. No prebiotics to nourish them (because healthy bacteria need food, just like anything living). And no postbiotics — the beneficial compounds that support the gut, strengthen immunity and create vibrant health. Our Unique Dual-Stage Fermentation Process

We start by fermenting organic prebiotic herbs with beneficial yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Then we use plant enzymes to break open the yeast cells, releasing nutrients and early-stage postbiotic compounds. Next, we ferment again — using probiotic strains. This dual-stage process creates dozens of beneficial postbiotic compounds that typical probiotics simply can’t provide.

After fermentation, we add 9 strains of premium probiotics using advanced freeze-dried and micro-encapsulation technology. This makes the probiotics dormant and protected until they reach your dog’s gut — where they can colonize more effectively.

Conventional probiotics require refrigeration which is a sign of inferior stability. Thanks to our freeze-dried micro-encapsulation process, GutSense is shelf-stable for up to 36 months while maintaining full potency.
